Touched by your comments, I do not know what to answer…so first of all I would thank you for having choosing the Champs Elysees Plaza for your stay in Paris, and feel truly sorry that you did not understand the spirit of our hotel.
You disliked the welcome toiletries we put in the bathroom? Hermes, well known as a luxury product, are used in many palaces, such as the Burj al arab in Dubai, the most luxury hotel all over the world!
Our beds are the same beds you find in Marriott or Sofitel, large and soft, mostly appreciated by our guest.
Some rooms, as many hotels such as the George V, the Plaza Athenee or the Marriott Champs Elysees are overlooking the inside courtyard, without balconies.
The little jet bombs right across the back bottom and sides are the main component of our Jacuzzi bath Chromotherapy, absolutely essential and we are more than sorry that you did not appreciate it and relax in it.
Regarding the teabags… they come from Mariage Freres, the most famous reference in France for tea.
Concerning the room service, you are absolutely right, it was unprofessional that is why, as soon as you informed us upon check out, we immediately reduced it from your bill.
We do are a 5* boutique hotel and not a 5* palace as you thought, and the spirit of the Champs Elysees Plaza is the true sens of hospitality, a cosy and intimate place to relax. We do personalize the welcome and the service, we follow each request and do our maximum to satisfy our guest, as you benefit for your honeymoon: Red rose petals on your bed, fresh flowers in your room, chocolate and a nominated welcome letter.

In order to inform our future guests about the reality of your stay, you will find below an answer about your non objective review.
You had reserved your stay in a Junior Suite in our property by a Tour Operator at a very interesting price. You arrived yesterday morning and asked at 10am for an early Check In. As your Junior Suite was not ready yet, we offered you to stay (free of charge) for a few hours in a Deluxe Suite. You stayed there until 5pm and then Check in in the Junior Suite (very comfortable and quiet 45m2 with shower and Jacuzzi bath for 2) we had reserved for you. You were disapointed because there was no fireplace. We offered you to change for an other Junior Suite that didn't seems suitable either. We offered you to stay in the Deluxe Suite (60m2) you had when you arrived for a supplement of 300€ (keeping in mind that this is fashion show in Paris actually and the regular rate for this suite is 790€), you refused either. I saw you today and you asked me a refund for the one night you already stay. I explained to you that it was impossible to refund as I was not paid yet by the Tour Operator, but offered you to find an arrangement with your travel agency to stay in an other hotel if you wish. I just want to tell you madam that it is very unpleasant for our staff to read this type of non objective review, as they try to make your stay the most enjoyable as possible. We still wish you a wonderful honeymoon. Best regards
