The zipline is awesome. The food is great The water slides are thrilling just make sure you hold your breath. Also just remember to bring extra money for the photos and food.

What an amazing adventure through the jungle! The experience was exhilarating. Poncho, Pablo, Victor, and Luis were so helpful to everyone. They encouraged those who were nervous. It was a great experience!!

LOCKER SIZE?
For the Zipline/Rappel/Mule /Slide Adventure, are the lockers INDIVIDUAL and are they big enough to place an average back-pack with a change of clothes and shoes in them?
RETURN JOURNEY?
Do you go back the same way you came on a mule/off-roader/boat, or do you go straight back (to the cruise ship in our case) in a vehicle?

Before you get on the mule, you are fitted with all the equipment needed for zip lining. At that point you have to put your backpacks in ONE big group waterproof bag. It is large enough for everyone’s backpacks with change of clothes etc. From the boat you travel by vehicle, and then then by mule to the zip lining. Coming back you do not go on the mule. Just the vehicle and boat. Enjoy your trip.

Can you skip the 'Longest Slide in Mexico' if you want to? Is there another way to 'get down'?
Would Keen style close-toed sandal/shoes be OK? Thx!

Yes you can skip the slide and there’s a trail to walk down. Keens are good to use. I wore crocs and that wasn’t so bad either.

What shoes are recommended for this excursion? I think running shoes are better for hiking/climbing but we don't want those to get wet. Are we better to wear water shoes?

Your shoes will get wet. We all wore water shoes and were fine. There are some brief hikes through the jungle. No major climbs or anything you would need more than water shoes for. Make sure they have closed toes and secure to your feet. No flip-flops or sandals.

How are you addressing COVID with the zip lines? We are booked for Outdoor Adventure and my husband is worried about the zip lines and how we address people touching the lines. Can anyone share what is being done? Thank you!

You wear their leather gloves as always. Hand sanitizer was available at all the water stations too. Have a terrific time!

Yes. I was on a boat to scuba dive there that was combined with an snorkel spend the day there trip. Also went to Las Caletas for Rhythms of the Night. Both booked with Vallarta Adventures

How hard is the impact of the ziplines and what kind of brake system is used? Also, will the roller coaster zipline jerk the passenger around a lot? I had back surgery last year and am healed, but need to be careful to avoid super hard impact & jerky twisting. If the zipline impact is moderate I should be fine. Is it possible to skip the rollercoaster zipline?

Hi Nina. I do not recall a hard stop or jerking on any of the ziplines. Once you near the platform at the end of the zipline the brake system engages via a “stopper” on the top line. From what I remember it was pretty smooth. There is a guide or 2 waiting on the platform to help catch you and get you released from the zipline. To my knowledge you are not able to skip any of the items on the excursion as it is the only way down the mountain. I will point out that once you get to the side of PV where this excursion takes place (we went by speed boat) the ride up the mountain is very bumpy and jerky due to the condition of the dirt road (rocky, uneven, etc) It takes about 20- 25 min to get to where the base camp is, then once you are fitted with your gear you are paired with a mule and go up to the first zip line, probably another 25 min. If you decide to do it, I hope you have fun. It was challenging but definitely worth it. The guides are awesome.
