I attended a school tour at St Nahi's, I was so impressed with this beautiful old church and the amazing history. The minister who led the tour did a great job at retelling the history.

Was only in here recently on a history Dundrum tour. This location is the oldest inhabited area of Dundrum going back to a monastic settlement on the site in the 6th century. Also now holds the baptismal font that both the Duke of Wellington and Robert Emmet were baptised.

For those who don't know, this church has an amazing viewpoint over the Dundrum Luas bridge.....and is often overlooked. The church is in use and whilst beautiful, the main attraction for me is the graveyard. Originally a famine graveyard and over 10,000 buried here, a truly remarkable spot.

The church is 18th century, but on the site of an early monastery. In the porch of the church there are two ornate Viking burial slabs, the font where the Duke of Wellington was baptised and a lovely stained glass window by Irish artist Evie Hone. Inside the church, the other windows are also very beautiful and there are altar tapestries made by Lily and Lolly Yeats, the sisters of the poet W.B. Yeats. The church (which is Anglican) is in use, and there is a service at 11.45 a.m. on Sundays. Of particular note is the fine organ music (thanks to the talented, prizewinning organist David Adams). In the graveyard there is a guided tour on App, with a wide variety of graves to visit.
