LMaster divers has 2 beautiful boats, well equipped with a nice hot shower after the dives.
A very professionnal dive center with beautiful new equipment. The BCDs and the Regs are smashing 👌.
On the boat they have some of the best DMs in the world. I would like to mention Steven who is the best of the best.
Overall Master Divers is an amazing professionnal school and if you want to try scuba dive courses this is the place to go.

I did my Open Water and Advanced at the Master Divers and it was an amazing experience!
Every step of it was so enjoyable and the shop has such an incredible and welcoming atmosphere.
Our Dive Instructor Josh lead us through every dive with so much patience and kindness. It was very pleasant to do the dives with him!
They showed us wonderful spots to dive and we had an beautiful view.
Appreciate what you guys did and it was definitely not the last time diving with yall.

Our kids at 15 and 18 took their openwater at MD and were both very happy with their instructor Katie. She made their nervousness disappear and they both had a world-class experience. My wife and I went on considering down our Guide, Holly a young woman from Manchester. She made my wife now have the desire to dive back. A totally fantastic experience to dive with MD. Holly is an Ace. Thank you very much to both MD and especially Katie and Holly.

I Got my open water at masterdivers koh tao and they really made it a great expirence. I had Katie as instructor and Josh as dive master and they Were the best. They made me feel confident and super safe in the water, Super helpful and good to check op on you, really just great teachers.
Overall just a great place to learn to how dive and feel safe in the ocean. Katie and Josh thank you so much for a great experience.

When ever I come diving on Koh Tao (several times over the last four years, since living in Bangkok and want to do some dives in my "backyard") I always go with Master Divers. They are consistently absolutely professional, well organised, own diving boat, well maintained equipment (if need any) and last but not least good dive masters and instructors. Latter especially impressed me this time. I did three dives with Steven having been on the island for 13 years as dive master. He is so enthusiastic about marine life. Well explaining marine life before and after the dive and his support and service above and under the water is just perfect. Looking forward to dive with him again.

Koh tao has many dive shops, But dive masters is by far the Best in my opinion! The staff was excellent and understanding, and the experience was one of a kind! I recommend any experienced or inexperienced divers to come to dive masters and have a good time diving! Much love from a happy diver!

Since I was 6 years old I really wanted to get my Padi but I never really had the opportunity. Now I am Solo travelling in Koh Tao and I heard from master Divers from a friend of mine.
My instructor Zuzana gave me such good instructions and explaining everything during the course. I felt very comfortable with her! And I had the most amazing time in the water and seen so much of the underwater world in different places in Koh Tao. Master divers made my dream come true and I want to thank Zuzana for everything!

Such a great experience. I did the open water scuba course. Zuzana was the instructor. She made me feel very safe and was super knowledgeable. Thanks Zuzana and Master Divers 🤙

Hi Khalid, Thank you for your question! There are several hostels within a few minutes' walking distance from our dive centre. Have a look at The Loft Hostel to start. They have both fan and AC dorm options. If you did not find space there, please feel free to message us and we can give you some more options.

What sort of boats do Master Divers use for their day dives?...

Thanks for your question! We use two different boats at Master Divers, the bigger one holding 20 passengers and the smaller one holding 10 passengers.
All of our divers can comfortably dive aboard and specially designed tank racks and dive stations mean each diver has a place. We carry oxygen, first aid and spares to ensure your trip is safe and hassle free. Tea, coffee, fresh water, fruit and cookies are available free of charge throughout your dive trip.
A marine toilet is available for your comfort and there’s an ample dry area to store your belongings too. A large sun deck tops the bigger boat with a shaded area so that you can relax between dives. Our compressor is in the dive centre and while this means the team move tanks each day it also means your dive will be a quiet one.

Hi there, I just wanted to follow up on your response to my review. I appreciate the in depth response and the fact that you take great pride in your approach. I think on reflection that the problem is actually in the way the question on the form is phrased. Perhaps it should be "Have you had a lung condition that could affect your diving." This would have avoided the entire scenario.
I subsequently went diving in Australia, and I'm actually so glad I had this learning experience, as I knew to put "no" in that box this time - and a doctor in Australia would have been MUCH more expensie. There was a girl on board the boat with me there, who was in tears as she was having exactly the same problem , having noted an irrelevant prior lung condition - except in her case the poor girl had filled in the form on board the boat, as did we all. Thus there was not even the option of going for the medical clearance in this instance!
This just confirmed my opinion that this medical form needs some tweaking. I appreciate the need for it - but the way it plays out in practice is frustrating. We're all reasonable adults, and I felt like I'd failed a trick question.
I'm happy to edit my review to give you the extra points if you'll be happy to think about my suggestion ;)

Thanks for your more in depth feedback, we do completely understand your point of view. As with all comments and feedback of this kind we'll be sure to pass on to PADI.
The main issue is that all paperwork and the medical is fairly generic, and designed as a fail safe to ensure all possible eventualities are covered. We have no choice in the wording ourselves, like every other dive centre we simply use the relevant PADI forms for each respective course/program.
This is why in all our emails we always attach a copy of the form so customers have seen it in advance and know if they need a consult or not prior to diving...although obviously this is not possible with walk in bookings. But unlike the trip you took in Australia, everything is explained and forms filled prior to getting on the boat, and I certainly agree that not completing the medical until it's too late to not take the trip was unfair, so that could be worth raising with the company you dived with.
The obvious problem with getting divers to self certify whether pre-existing conditions/ injuries are dive related or not, is that many divers - especially those who are brand new or inexperienced - may not know, and therefore there is a huge risk that those who should not be in the water proceeding with training. Hence it is much easier to be strict with the formalities, than risk accidents and injuries. As I said I will pass on your feedback, but I fully expect this to be the answer from PADI too.

Hi Jennifer,
Booking ahead by at least a few days is recommended, especially if you have a preference for a particular schedule. But you can also pop in on arrival, no problem. As Jessie H says, we managed to get them started the next day! Just be aware that we may not be able to guarantee your preferences at short notice if you have not booked in advance, especially in high season and busy periods each side of the monthly full moon party on neighboring Koh Phangan :)
