This is a pretty easy walk among impressive scenery, awesome views, and no steep inclines to navigate. We walked up Schnebly Hill Road and began the trail at the marker for the trail. It's broken up so if you need to exit the trail, there is a half-way point to do that (you would continue walking down the road to the Circle K market).
Being as it was a beautiful day with mild temperatures, we did the entire walk, ending where it crosses the road and becomes Broken Arrow trail.
Walking as many trails as possible is the highlight of vacationing in Sedona.

We loved this trail. We had our kids (preK -preteen) and our parents with us, two of whom weren’t in great health and tire out quickly. Originally we wanted to do a different, more popular trail, but parking spots weren’t available there. This was our backup trail and wow, we all enjoyed it so much.
Started by the back of some hotel. Initially there was an ascent, with a few steep sections, which I hadn’t planned for. Oops. The older people with us managed it, though. Once that first climb was done the views were spectacular and it became relatively flat for a bit.
We loved the red dirt and the variety of plant life. At a junction, we turned left and were able to get to see Snoopy Rock head on after hiking that way for a bit (couldn’t see it at first).
This trail had very few people and was just delightful; mostly manageable for those who don’t hike much. Easy for seasoned hikers. Great views regardless.

This hike was right near where we stayed, so easy to get to. It is pretty flat, super easy walk, so just about anyone can enjoy it. There are views the whole way that get better as you go. It is not a hike where you go above the city, but you look up to the formations as you walk. I went around 6 at night when it was cool and nobody else was on the trail so that was beautiful.

this trail is well marked and well done. it has partial shade so it is a little cooler in the summer. nice to follow the creek when it is running in the spring or late winter.

We hiked Margs Draw yesterday (late January). We arrived at the middle parking lot around 9:45 a.m. and it only had 1 other car. There was no one there to collect the parking fee. The hike is fairly level and and the views are magnificent. The weather was perfect for hiking. The only problem with the hike is that it has minimal signage. There were about a half dozen times when there appeared to be two different ways to go on the trail and no trail markers for direction. We did manage to choose the right way each time but it added a touch of stress to the hike hoping we wouldn't find out an hour later we were on the wrong trail.

A wonderful hike that can be enjoyed by most casual hikers. You go by some gorgeous rock formations. The scenery changes as you walk along looking at it from different angles. It was extremely enjoyable. I recommend it highly.

Beautiful and moderate trail. Hidden gem and easy parking. Trail goes to Broken Arrow Trailhead then Chicken Point. Beautiful stunning scenery the whole way.

Margs Draw Trail was just a short walk from my hotel so I decided it would be my first hike during a four day visit to Sedona. Despite the hundreds of trails in the area, I ended up coming back here twice a day as I just fell in love with the trek and surroundings. I entered the trail head off Sombart Lane. The initial climb is steep and may be challenging for those with physical issues. There are numerous steps, made easier with wooden logs and boards, while some parts of the incline require a bit of mild rock climbing. Once past the trail head climb, though, one can walk for miles on relatively flat, easy terrain – taking in the stunning views of the red rocks as well as the beautiful, elusive cactus flowers along the way. The trail branches out in different directions and I took a different one each time so it never got boring. In the mornings I encountered many other walkers and joggers. In the late afternoons, however, the trails were deserted. One afternoon I walked over an hour up and down several trails without encountering a single human or other moving life form. It truly felt as if I was lost in a wilderness area (which it is) and the solitude was breathtaking for this city boy. It gets extremely dark after sundown so keeping an eye on the time is essential. Of course, water and sunscreen are musts, as well. No special hiking gear is needed. Poles might help on the initial climb (especially going back down) but a well-fitting pair of sneakers/running shoes with good tread is really all that is necessary.

I failed at our selected morning (the long one for the day) hike - West Fork trail - because I was nervous crossing the stream (stupidly did not have hiking sticks). We then drove here for a shorter trail before lunch.
We parked at the top of the trail, kind of in a residential neighborhood.
The trail was beautiful, as all of Sedona is. We did not see Snoopy rock, sadly. I think we got turned around at a point but still had a nice 2 hours of walking in total. Some steep parts, some rocky parts but overall fairly easy.

Did this hike at sunrise, 45min in and 45mins out, a bit of a climb to get into the trail then it's fairly level and a perfect pace. Gorgeous 360 views. Lots of flora and fauna. Highly recommended.

Is this trail good for bike riding?

It might be. I'm not a mountain biker so I can't say for sure but when we were there, there was a guy getting ready to bike. There is another trail at this trail head that might be better for biking. It begins in the same parking lot as Margs Draw.
