Awesome, even from a redneck view.

Too much to mention. The theatre folks were really friendly. Really!! We sat in the mezzanine. The seats were really comfy w/a great view of the stage. The Play!! OMG!! The cast members must have drank two pots of coffee a piece. They were so energetic! I'm not a Cultural kind of guy. But after you leave your Manly defenses down, WOW. Can't stop laughing. BTW, my Mrs enjoyed it so much!! CON, the parking. We are out of towners, Scranton, It took about 15 minutes to find the Enter sign of the parkade. All one way streets.

Not bad for a small venue

The theatre was gorgeous and pristine. We were very impressed. White Christmas was good but not great the sound was a bit overwhelming. Certain actors were ear piercingly loud. They also were kind of nuts about no pics. You can take pics on Broadway but not here? So weird.
Suggestion would be to make an area afterward for family to take photos together. They had a red curtain downstairs and it was a bit boring. Would’ve been great with a few Christmas decorations.

Lovely historic theatre

A friend of mine gave us a tour of this theatre while we were visiting from out of state, as she had performed/interned here for several years, and we were very impressed with how well-preserved it is. They've had some really good shows stop here on tour; I would definitely come back here to watch a show.

Front row seats to Jersey Boys was such a treat for my wife and I!

PRO: Exceptional show, acting, story, music. I was concerned I was going to be blasted by speakers in the front row. Not a problem. Great acoustics and levels.

CON: None!

Looking at the theater, any seat you get will be ideal to watch any show they have!

This was our first trip to see a show at the Fulton. The theater itself is worth seeing as it reminds on of many broadway stages we have seen. We saw “Man of La Mancha” The cast and music were wonderful. Not that crazy about the play itself but certain most patrons enjoyed it. Would definitely go back.

We went last night to see “Smoky Joe’s Cafe” what a disturbing disappointment!
We left at intermission, it was a vulgar play and a total waste of money.

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee was a Hoot!

I just saw the Fulton Theatre's production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. This production was hilarious, touching and the acting was tremendous. I don't remember laughing this hard at anything in a very long time. The cast was tremendous, their voices were beautiful, and the choreography spot on. I have seen a number of productions at the Fulton, but none as funny or tender as this one. Whoever cast this show deserves kudos.

Disappointing: vulgar content with no warning

The description of the play "Spelling Bee" described it as a "heartfelt" story, etc. That description suggested to us wholesome family entertainment. For the first half of the play, this was generally the case, but then the wheels came off. The script and lyrics went suddenly into the gutter with vulgar inuendo followed by vulgar lyrics, culminating in blasphemy, which is when we took our leave. We wished we had followed others who left earlier, during the vulgar. At any rate, we won't be returning, which is sad because we loved Cinderella a couple of months earlier and have thoroughly enjoyed other productions in the past. We are certainly aware that there are those who desire this kind of entertainment, but the least you can do is give adequate, straightforward descriptions of content so patrons are not disappointed. We would have saved our money.

Broadway in Lancaster!

Our first visit to the Fulton was to see Cinderella. What a treat! Our mezzanine seats were perfect for viewing the full stage, all of the action and those GORGEOUS costumes. The talent was exceptional - the set was just beautiful. And the theatre itself, along with its recently renovated lobby are stunning as well. Lots of superlatives here -- but truly deserving. I've seen more shows on Broadway than I could ever begin to count and I must say that this show was right up there with the best of them. If I were a local I'd have season tickets!

Fun evening

This was our third visit to the Fulton Theatre. This time we saw Cinderella. The actors/actresses were excellent. Our seats were in the balcony, first row; very good seats. Very enjoyable evening.
