I'm new to guns and I took the Pistol Pro class with Scott who was absolutely amazing. I learned tons and he was super knowledgeable and helpful and fun. I'm hoping to book another lesson so I can bring my wife. Highly recommended!

I booked a shooting experience for me and my son just before Christmas. Scott Austin, our instructor, was fantastic. His knowledge and experience shone through. It was a highlight of our trip To Jackson. We worked our way through numerous firearms going at our own pace, never rushed. A great father son experience. Good luck with the long range effort this year and I can confirm you can teach an old dog new tricks!

Our shooting experience was awesome! We had so much fun, and even the first-time shooters in our family group of 12 are now hooked. The guys at the range (Shepard, Scott, and Dave) could not have been more helpful, informative, and fun - even in the below freezing temperatures and snow.
The Jackson Hole Shooting Experience is a must for anyone visiting Jackson Hole.

My cousin and I booked the Shooting Experience through the Four Seasons, and had such an amazing time! Our instructor Dennis was incredible, and made the day so informative and fun! We had limited shooting experience, and Dennis was able to take his decades of experience, and give us a strong foundation, while also providing a lot of education; which was so helpful and interesting! He also took the time to answer my questions regarding self-defense, and offered great recommendations. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and will be traveling back to take another one of Dennis’ courses! Thank you Dennis! - Jessica & Alexandria

My wife and I did the JH Shooting Experience with our nephew who was visiting from California. Tony was our instructor and he was awesome! It was fun, safe, and we learned a lot. Highly recommended for all ages and experience levels!

We heard about the Jackson Hole Shooting Experience through the Four Seasons, and I completely understand why they included it on their list of great things to do in JH. Our personal instructor, Mike, was an amazing and patient teacher! My husband and I had a ton of fun, and also walked away with a much better education regarding gun safety. Thank you!

Zack was a great instructor for a 2 hour pre-hunt tune up and helping me to learn the nuances of my new scope and rifle. Looking forward to doing it again next year.

An outstanding experience, a ton of fun, and learned a lot.... Dennis was our host and he was very engaging, responsiveness, knowledgeable, and encouraging and just a fantastic coach and representative of the Jackson Hole Shooting Experience..... we had a party of four adults, all fairly inexperienced with firearms, and Dennis did a great job in guiding us along, giving us advice and options, and making it enjoyable. Would definitely recommend it as it is a unique experience...

What an amazing experience we had as a family shooting so many different guns! Zach our shooting instructor was unbelievable. So helpful and patient with our family. Truly a great time had by all.

I have been shooting skeet for a long time, but sporting clays only once, about 10 years ago. I shoot from a lowered gun position only, as I consider this practice for ruffed grouse hunting. Would this be allowed? I have been shooting shotguns for 50 years. Can I bring my own shotguns and AA shells? I do OK with a pistol, but if a lesson from a pro could help me improve, I'm all for it. I would like to bring my own pistols as well, I am a CCP holder from Michigan.

A) If you have your own guns and ammunition, you can purchase a clays card and shoot on public days at the Jackson Hole Gun Club (Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays) from 10-5 when there is a range master there. PLEASE call them directly to inquire about details, as the shotgun bay is under construction, it is open seasonally and we've had an exceptionally heavy snow pack this year, and the range master, Dan D., will be able to walk you through the particulars of the range use when on your own....
You may also bring your pistol and ammunition and shoot on the rifle or pistol bay, during public days, on your own.... (Sat and Sun if you are coming to Jxn this winter; or including Fridays if you are coming this summer...)
B) If you are indeed desiring to be paired with a coach, that's where we at the Jackson Hole Shooting Experience come in! We are a private instruction company and utilize the JH Gun Club's facilities for training. You may use our guns or yours, we'll pair you with one of our experienced shotgun coaches, and you can customize your course of fire for skill development directly with you instructor (and have a BLAST along the way!) 307-690-7921 We look forward to speaking with you soon!

Yes Jenny, your kids might be perfect for shooting!
"We do not have an age limit because we have learned that chronological age has less to do with safe shooting than maturity. Most kids under 8 year olds have difficulty concentrating for 3 hours, and their body size is not appropriate for many of the large caliber guns.
This being said, you know your child best and as long as he or she can and will follow the safety directions – we welcome them! We put safety as #1, and our coaches will make decisions regarding appropriate guns."
