Between "Yosemite Village area and the Yosemite Falls Trailhead, there's this short easy walk facing the falls. It's really a transition walk and when the falls are flowing (they weren't when we visited in early August of course), one can get a great view of these natural wonders. The foreground of meadow provides a great photo op.
You don't even have to walk the trails leading up closer to the falls if you are so inclined. It's hiding in plain sight, just parallel to the sidewalk next to the road, but just off the road on the right. Across the street is the great meadow facing Sentinel Dome, etc.

when you walk the Cook's meadow loop, you can see the view of the Yosemite falls, it's a easy walk, 1.6 km loop, you can use stroller, and it can be finished in 30 min. But if you have already taken too many pictures of the Yosemite falls which can be viewed at the Swinging bridge, in the Yosemite fall's trail, then you may skip this loop.

Hicimos ambas rutas en un día soleado. Es bonito con las praderas, las flores, el Capitán y las grandes piedras de granito. Uno de los mejores paseos de Yosemite apto para todos los públicos. Sin embargo, no sé si será porque he vivido en zona con paisajes verdes y estoy acostumbrada a ellos, tampoco me pareció increíble. Lo que le diferencia de otras rutas, es el Capitán y la majestuosidad de sus montañas graníticas.

Cook's meadow is an easy walk to see a beautiful meadow! The trailhead is right across the road from yosemite falls. If you are there at the right time, you will see the beautiful milkweeds in bloom. You will also see nice views of yosemite falls and half dome. The loop is probably 1-1.3 miles and flat, so it makes for an easy walk.

We attempted to follow the directions for the loop listed on the NP website. I think we were mostly successful at staying on the loop. It was a very easy walk and it wasn't particularly crowded. My favorite part of the loop was the view of Half Dome from Sentinel Bridge. It was very pretty, but didn't have the same wow factor as some other areas in the valley.

Cooks meadow loop is very easy trail but offers great overview of the park. El Capitan, Half Dome, and the waterfall is clearly visible while walking along this loop. However, finding the starting point can be difficult.

Un trail molto semplice, accessibile a tutti, che permette di vedere alcune delle cose più belle del parco come l’Half Dome, che abbiamo percorso deviando in vari punti anche nel prato, anche per trovare alcune viste magari un po’ più particolari. Un po’ di tempo che merita di essere speso, magari anche a fine giornata per godersi anche il tramonto.

Cooks Meadow Trail is a flat, easy 1 mile walk for everyone, although probably not as smoothly paved as the lower Yosemite falls trail for the mobility challenged. The starting point is across the road from the cute little chapel, where there is parking. The views on the walk are excellent, you'll see half dome and Yosemite falls. The walk has a lot of photo opportunities.

This was my favorite walk in Yosemite. It's an easy one mile flat loop that is suitable for all fitness levels. There's a great view of Half Dome, and the trail passes by the Yosemite Valley Chapel.

This walk was recommended by the info centre after a long day of walking when we wanted to do something easy for an hour. It's flat and absolutely beautiful - great views of half dome in particular.
