Boer maak 'n plan

We arrived for this tractor ride and the farmer gave a friendly introductions. We took our seats and off we went.

The road up the mountain is very steep and unfortunately the tractor did what donkeys like to do and we had to call it a day. But as they say: "'n Boer maak 'n plan". The farmer and his wife drove all of us in Land cruisers up the mountain in order to enjoy the sunset. The view from the mountain was spectacular. The cheese and fruit platters were beautifully presented. We enjoyed the food and wine and had a lovely time.

Superb Experience at Sunset

Have previously done tractor rides in different areas. The trip was booked by our host at the African Tulip Guest House in Tulbagh for a sunset ride. This was the best experience we have been on. Andrew and his wife were excellent hosts throughout. When we reached the summit we were presented with a beautiful finger buffet and wine. What a way to end the day looking over the valley into the sunset. S must if you are in the area.

Amazing and breathtaking experience

We did a sunset trip and were blown away by the experience. The trip was made very interesting by the owner who related the interesting history of the area. We were blown away by the picnic on top of the mountain and the really excellent wines. The food could be described as edible art and the olde world finesse with which everything was done is admirable. A must do in Tulbagh

Morning trip

We did a morning trip with breakfast on the mountain. Had a quick stop on the way up to see a small pond with fresh water filtering from the mountain. Andrew & Christine was very welcoming and gracious hosts
