A 2 minute walk will take you to a small supermarket which has a limited expensive selection. If you carry on straight for around 10 mins there is a bigger supermarket, more selection and cheaper. Our preferred shop is Intermarche on the main road from Albufeira. There's everything you need. We walked there in 10-15 minutes. Plus there's the bonus of an ice cold drink or 2 next door.

As far as I know there is no deposit at Clube Maria Luisa, we never paid one or were even asked to pay one. It's a lovely place, we loved it. We'll definitely be back next year. Hope you have a nice time.

We paid in advance through an online booking website so don’t know about deposit. There is a supermarket within couple minutes walking distance, not a massive one but it has all the essentials. If you walk further on for about 10 minutes you are at the main drag with loads of restaurants. There is a bigger supermarket but I think you’d need a taxi to get to and from. We were only there for three nights so we ate out for dinners. Accommodation is older decor inside but it’s everything you will need, it’s clean, it’s quiet and safe.
