We came for an evening meal afterwards few recommendations from friends.. and we were not disappointed! Absolutely lovely surroundings and extra attentive staff. The meal was superb, I had a mint burger while my husband opted for the pork belly. We shall definitely be returning.
We stumbled across the website when searching for a campsite local to Moreton-in-Marsh and we are so glad we did. Wonderful little site, situated at the back of the pub - well contained area, with shower and toilet block. We had our camper van - plenty of electric hook up's available - the wooden cabins looked lovely. Also had an excellent roast in the pub on the Sunday - staff were all absolutely delightful. Only thing I would mention is there are no washing up facilities, unless we just didn't find them? Wasn't a major problem as we only stayed one night.
Located a few miles from Morton In the March. Stayed for 2 nights in one of the wooden cabins, set in nice garden area. Cabin offers clean accommodation with 2 single and one double bed, small but comfy. Electric points, small table and chairs, tea and coffee making facilities provided. Bring along some fire wood, a large fire burner is provided. BBQs welcome. You have 24 hour access to the pubs toilets and showers are available. There are around 6 cabins and space for tents and caravans. Water tap is also available. Cabins do not have toilets or water. Electric radiator is provided. KIV that a main road is located behind where some Cabins are set, you may wish to check you have one that this further away from the road. Pub is popular so book ahead on peak days. Food is pretty good, usual British type offering, wine choices are uninspired, the Rioja at £30 is probably your best bet if you like red but average at best and overpriced in my opinion. Specials are available and the Faggots were really good. Some of our party had an issue with “pink” steak being overcooked, we sent it back and no fuss. Pleasant service, throughout our stay. I have deducted a mark as showers and bathrooms were not to standard. Showers were in need of an upgrade with rusty radiator inside making them look very unappealing. Toilets had a leak all weekend with the sanitary wear also being broken (taps). Toilets were not cleaned regularly enough. Wet underfoot. Pub restaurant also adds a automatic 10% service charge to all bills which I always feel is a cheek, I prefer to set my own gratuity in cash and pay it direct to server. Nice place.…
