Arrived 11am, checked if we could get room keys already but won't be staying in the room coz we'll be in the beach. Owner said she'll charge us P150/hr because check in time is 2pm. Owner very unaccommodating even if rooms are empty and ready already! Came back 2pm, got the room keys, checked the rooms... OMG the ugliest rooms ever! Insulation in the room could have been better installed. My husband feels like pinaputok na isda while inside the room hahaha Pillows and towels are old. We have a hello kitty bedsheet - talk about cheap taste. The free soap is a small soap cut into two. We wer so dissapointed because we paid P2,300 for the room. Overpriced! Not recommended!
We reserved for their Kubo De Luxe room which they say is good for 2-4 adults. It has double-sized bed and extra mattress can be set up to accommodate 4 people. The pictures of the rooms in their website do not resemble the actual state of the kubos. The said Kubo is too cramped for 4 adults. So we transferred to their Family room.We paid PHP 6,000 for their Family Room. The air conditioning unit is not sufficient to cool the room. The beddings and pillows are so old and overused. Even the bathroom is smelly. D' Resort needs to renovate and improve their facilities if they want their guests to return. The beach is very nice and so are the people in the area.
I love the place, the people and food! Twas a good weekend vibe when we got here. The room was big enough for the 2 of us. Cheap alcohol drinks. Great view. A budget friendly place to stay in! Will definitely visit again! 2 thumbs up!
Our plan was to check in at Mope Beach Resort we got the contact number from the photo in Mope Beach Resort Reviews. It was later that we found out that the number we called belongs to D'Resort that is why we end up here. Ate Belen was accomodating and the other staff are friendly too. The room that we got was OK. It has it's toilet and bath with heater (water is running very well), 32' Flat tv with 2 side table and that's all. We went here after New Year. Aside from us there was 1 family that were guests in the resort. The resort is small but well maintained. The waves are quite strong not recommended for swimming especially for toddlers. You can swim at your own risk though.. They also have a bar and restaurant. My husband and my 2 year old daughter loved their Chicken Tinola. They also have other menu that range from P150 to P300 pesos…
My stay here at D'Resort (La Paz, San Narciso, Zambales) was great! The owner (Mr. Chris) and the caretakers were very hospitable. The environment around the hotel is safe even if it is surrounded by the houses of the residents. The hotel room where I stayed is clean - including the bathroom. Overall, I can say that the property is well-maintained.
